The project is centered around an urban mining concept. Following the demolition of its central building, the opportunity has arisen to reuse components from the pre-existence such as materials, machines, furniture and objects.
In order to create a new space out of these ruins I have put together a process that combines digital fabrication with rescued material. This open source architecture can only be made complete through collective participation and creation. Overall, this project seeks to create a sustainable relationship between past and present by repurposing natural and artificial resources into something valuable for future generations.
